The Book Riot Top 50: How Many Have You Read?
Over the last several weeks, Book Riot compiled a list of readers' favorite novels. 1,311 readers answered naming more than 1,200 different books. Now, Book Riot's asking how many you've read. The list is below (the ones I've read are bolded - 24 total) — count your total, and then go here to enter your number. Book Riot will tabulate and post the results regarding the averages and whatnot next week.
I have only read 3, absolutely loved Rebecca, enjoyed To Kill a Mockingbird and hated Time travelers Wife.
ReplyDeleteI need to check out the full list.
I've read 8 of the 50 listed there. Some of them you and I have both read, while others I've read and you have yet to read (and of course, vise verse). But what a great list!
ReplyDeleteLove this list ;) I've read 30..not too shabby!
ReplyDeleteI was blazing away and then...crickets chirping. I've read 18. I must say, there are at least 18 I probably will never, ever pick up. Like the last 6 of the Harry Potter books. One and a whole slew of movies was all the Harry Potter I need.
ReplyDeleteI'm at 21. I also need to do a reread of To Kill A Mockingbird soon - it's been so long and since it made number one I'd like to revisit it!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm curious, did you vote and if so, which three books did you vote for?
I need to do that, too - I think I've read it like three times, but it's been awhile since the last one.
DeleteI did vote - I voted for Infinite Jest, The Brothers K, and The Power of One.
What were yours?
What aa weird, ecclectic list. I've read 23. I've tried to read Lord of the Rings three times. It's the only novel I have ever failed at reading. My favorte of the bunch is Infinite Jest.
ReplyDeleteI've read 30!
